Ganeshan Suthagaran is a second-generation steel businessman and the President Partner & Managing Director of Seegaan Hardware Centre in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Ganeshan Suthagaran grew up around steel — his father was a steel dealer before him, making him a second-generation man of the trade. For 25 years he has bought, sold and supplied steel and hardware in Colombo, turning the family line into Seegaan Hardware Centre, where he serves as President Partner & Managing Director.
Under his lead, Seegaan Hardware Centre has become a supply partner associated with some of the island's most demanding builds — L&T Indian Construction Company operations, China Harbour's Port City Colombo project, the CBL Ranala project — and, across the water, DEK Studio projects in the Maldives, among many others.
He works from Colombo and runs the sales desk personally: quotations, bulk project orders and contractor supply go through him and his team at sales@seegaan.lk.
